Your AI phone agent works inside your systems.
Infocall builds tools that connect your AI phone agent to the systems you already run. It looks things up and takes the actions you approve, so a call ends in a booking, a status or a change, not a message.
- Who builds the tools
- Infocall, during the build. You build nothing.
- Two kinds of tool
- Ones that look things up, ones that change things
- What it cannot do
- Wander through your software or improvise inside it
- Old software
- A normal starting point, not a dealbreaker
A custom tool is a small, permitted action
A tool does one job in one of your systems, with a set input and a set result. Check availability takes a date and returns the open times. Nothing else.
Infocall writes each tool for your business and gives the agent a short list of them.
- 01Input
- What the agent needs first: a name, a date, an order number.
- 02Result
- What comes back, in words the agent can say without guessing.
- 03Permission
- Whether the tool may only look, or may also change something.
Three tools run. The caller hears one answer.
A booking runs three tools in sequence. The caller hears none of it, just one short reply with the table already held.
“Can you get us a table outside around seven?”
- 01Check availability 7:15pm open
- 02Check patio seating 2 outdoor tables free
- 03Create reservation Booked, patio, 7:15pm
“Done. An outdoor table for four at 7:15.”
A dispatch call ends with a real number
Without tools, a status call cannot be answered at all. With them, the agent finds the job, reads the live ETA and tells the caller how long.
It rounds 24 minutes to about 25, because nobody needs false precision about a van in traffic. How a result is spoken is decided in the build.
“How far out is the technician?”
- 01Find job Job 2214, en route
- 02Get technician ETA 24 minutes
“Marcus is about 25 minutes out. I will text you when he is close.”
Looking something up and changing it are separate
A tool that reads tells the caller what is true. A tool that writes leaves your system different from how it found it.
What the agent may change is decided in the build, never on the call. Every write action is listed with its conditions, and the agent cannot take one nobody gave it.
| Tool that reads | Tool that changes something |
|---|---|
| Check availability | Create reservation |
| Find appointment | Update appointment |
| Verify visitor | Open visitor gate |

She asked where the van was.
Old systems, and systems with no way in
Old software is a normal starting point. Some systems connect directly. Some need a workaround. A few cannot be reached, and scoping tells you which is which.
Where a system cannot be reached, or a tool fails mid-call, the agent does not pretend. It takes the details, hands them to a person, and says so.
One agent can do both on the same call: book in the system that answers, take details for the one that does not.
Nothing for you to build or keep alive
Infocall builds the tools, and there is nothing for you to configure or maintain. After launch, Infocall keeps reviewing real calls and tuning the agent.
- 01Your part
- A scoping call, access to your systems, and one review before launch.
Questions people actually ask.
We have no API. Can the agent still do anything useful?
Usually, yes. Some systems connect directly, some need a workaround, and a few cannot be reached. For those, the agent takes the caller's details and hands them to a person.
Does it actually book, or does it just take a message?
It books, whenever the system is reachable and the action was approved in the build. It checks availability, creates the reservation and confirms the time out loud before the caller hangs up. Taking a message is the fallback for what cannot be resolved live, not the default.
Which software does Infocall integrate with?
There is no list. Each agent's tools are built for one business, not picked from a catalog. The demo agents reach a reservation book, a repair order, a scheduler, a hotel's rooms, a class timetable, a dispatch board, live stock, order status and a gate. Which of yours the agent reaches is settled on the first call.
Can it change or cancel something, or only look things up?
It can change things, for the actions you approve. A cancellation works like any other write tool: it exists only if it was built. Anything outside that list goes to a person.
Give every caller your best, every time.
The first call is free. Nothing is committed until you have a scope and a price.
